Sandro Bracchitta
An excellent engraver, Sicilian, appreciated and awarded all over the world, he expresses himself in a continuous search for suggestions through materials and different engraving techniques.
Carmelo Candiano
Sculptor of the Scicli Group, he is distinguished by his use of noble stones such as pitch stone that charge his synthesized forms with Sicilian identity.
Giuseppe Colombo
Born in Modica and a historical member of the Scicli Group. Unquestionable talent from lyrical painting represents an ideal link with contemporary pictorial expression
Tano De Simone
A native of Marsala, he portrays landscapes and figures with a typical stillness that makes them almost sculptural
Piero Guccione
A Sicilian, assistant professor of Renato Guttuso, he is considered one of the major authors of late 20th century Italian painting.
Giovanni Iudice
Born in Gela, he exhibited some works with the Scicli Group. His art shows a realism that is difficult to achieve, and his pencil recreates subjects and environments with extraordinary intensity
Giovanni La Cognata
Born in Comiso, he graduated from the Art Institute and began his activity in Milan. Back in Sicily, he created a figurative art in which a prominent element is the study and research of light
Sebastiano Messina
Ragusano, linked to the Scicli Group. He carves stone with tales of childhood, enveloping the figures with the emotion of the sign.
Giuseppe Modica
Originally from Mazara del Vallo. The depiction of everyday objects and landscapes with their play of light transport to a metaphysical reality. He was shown great artistic appreciation by Leonardo Sciascia
Claudio Olivieri
Romano. The chromatic research merges with the study of light and shadow that give the works an extreme fluidity by merging the perspective planes
Salvatore Paolino
Ragusano, self-taught and a member of the Scicli Group. A highly refined landscape painter, he builds with infinite patience the multiple layers of light that run through his sunsets and wheat fields.
Franco Polizzi
Born in Scicli, a member of the Scicli Group, he exhibits in Chicago, Paris and Basel. Lives and works at his hometown.
Salvatore Provino

Franco Sarnari
Born in Rome, he moved to Sicily in the 1970s. An eclectic painter, he is famous for the cycle of “Fragments” and “Deletions.” One of the founders of the Scicli Group.
Ruggero Savinio
Turin-born writer and painter. He is surrounded in his artistic and private life by two imposing figures such as that of his father, Alberto, and his uncle, Giorgio De Chirico, from whom, however, he was able to learn and then distance himself by creating his own artistic orientation
Claudio Verna
Lives in Rome. His first major exhibitions took place in the Tuscan capital. Characteristic of his works is the expressive freedom in which the sign gives life to space and figures
